In 2002 heb ik, Nancy de Kok, mijn bedrijf Boswyck Legal Translations opgericht om Nederlandse expats en bedrijven met mijn vertaaldiensten te kunnen helpen. Ik heb jarenlang in het buitenland gewoond, in zowel het Midden-Oosten, het Verre Oosten als in Australië. Ik weet dan ook goed wat er zoal komt kijken bij een verhuizing naar en het wonen in het buitenland. Dat maakt dat ik goed met u mee kan denken en maatwerk lever. Omdat ik zelf de vertaalwerkzaamheden verricht zijn de communicatielijnen kort en is de flexibiliteit groot.
Naast vertaler ben ik ook jurist waardoor ik goed bekend ben met het juridisch taalgebruik en de vakinhoudelijke terminologie. Deze achtergrond heeft er uiteindelijk toe geleid dat ik naast de vertaalwerkzaamheden ook tolkdiensten bij de notaris ben gaan verrichten. Hierin komt alles samen; de Engelse taal, mijn juridische achtergrond en de expat wereld.
Personal Info
In 2002, I started Boswyck Legal Translations helping Dutch expats and companies with my translation services. I lived abroad as an expat for many years, in the Middle East, the Far East and Australia. As a result, I am well aware of what it takes to move and live abroad and thus able to provide tailor-made solutions. Because the translation work is done by me, lines of communication are short and flexibility is high.
Besides being a translator, I am also a lawyer, which means I am familiar with the legal language and terminology involved. This background also led me to offer interpretation services at the notary in addition to translation work, the perfect combination of the English language, my legal background and the expat world.
